How to Care Hair

General Care
Straight and body wave hair should be brushed daily to eliminate tangling. Deep wave and curly hair requires more maintenance and should be wet at least every other day following a light leave in conditioner. Fill a spray bottle with water to saturate hair to avoid tampering with your foundation.

Night Care
At night straight hair should be wrapped and tied down with a satin scarf or bonnet. Body wave, deep wave and curly should be braided into 2 big braids to keep its natural pattern.

Co Wash
A Co Wash is recommended weekly to keep hair nourished and moisturized. If product build up is an issue a clarifying shampoo should be used before Co Wash. Apply a half palm size of coconut Oil to reduce frizz and let the hair air dry.

Flat Ironing
It is always best to shampoo hair before a flat iron for the best results. After it’s fully blow dried take a small section from the back and clip the rest out of your way. A heat protectant or light serum added before applying heat which will not hurt. Separate your hair according to the size of your flat iron. (I.E 1 Inch Flat Iron = 1 Inch of Hair. 1 1/2 Flat Iron = 1 1/2 Inch of Hair) Flat irons should be set at A Minimum Heat of 350 and Maximum 450

Coloring
Unless you are a professional hair stylist or it is not recommend you to color your extensions to avoid Over-processing and unsalvageable damage the hair.

Swimming
The components in chlorine and salt water may have the potential factors to damage your extensions if not protected and cared for well after swimming. When swimming a cap is recommended to preserve your hair and afterward a clarifying shampoo should be applied, following a moisture shampoo and then a deep Condition, Masque, Or Co Wash. Brush hair from ends to base to avoid tangling and shedding.
